Sobriety date is April 25, 2009

I haven't found a need to pick up another drink or a drug . My home group name is Paper Hope and I love it! I've been the Secretary of this group for the past four years now. Currently our meetings are held on Zoom. Today I continue to stay sober no matter what! I would like to thank Mary Holmes and Sobriety In Motion Corporation for being there when I need them the most. What a tremendous help! Thank you!!

Sobriety: 8 years (uninterrupted)

Thanks to the members of Sobriety In Motion Corporation for their tolerance, patience and their strong belief in a higher power.
Daily, I apply several of the values, morals, philosophies, and beliefs that were instilled in me during the program. I have now
opened a sober house. In efforts to operate using the same rules, values, patience and tolerance with my clients as were shown while at Sobriety In Motion.
Furthermore, I am truly grateful to SIMC for showing me this new way of LIFE. I also would like to give thanks to God.

Hello my name is Dicarlo and I am an alcoholic. My sobriety date is May 17, 2010. I really don't look back at the time because it can be erased if I "pick up."
I began my journey at Sobriety in Motion Corporation. Which is a  home built for people with addictions. I had reached the bottom and the only way was up from there.  When I decided to leave the house, I was told that the only thing that changed was my address. I know now what I can have and what I can't.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to live at Sobriety In Motion Corporation.

Came to Sobriety In Motion Corporation in May of 2017 with no other option to recover from alcoholism sobriety in motion gave me a place to come and build a foundation in recovery that has given me what I need to stay sober one day at a time.
I am forever grateful for what GOD and this program has provided me.

Gratefully yours,

Sobriety date is 11/19/2013

I attend 5-6 meetings a week. I sponsor two guys. I'm active in my home group. With my sponsor and several other members... I attend Gethsemane Baptist Church annually.
Through Zoom, meetings are still being held. With a daily prayer, I'm able to navigate through the good and challenging times. Which is a tool practiced at Sobriety in Motion.  SIMC also offered financial pressures. And other responsibilities associated with trying to manage a family and a household. In turn, I was able to focus on my recovery. They allowed me to see that it was not my job, my wife, or anything else that  was the problem. I was the problem! Once I accepted that, I became the solution.
Because of the assistance of Sobriety In Motion Corporation
and my time there, I am grateful to be sober, able to handle life on life's terms, and as reasonably happy as a man can be living while contributing and giving back to society.
